The Double-Slit Experiment: The Observer Within (+/-)
One of the most famous and repeatedly studied experiments in physics is the double-slit experiment and it continues to challenge our intuitive understanding of reality.
And what better way to understand it than through the fun cartoon video below, where you’ll see how the simple act of observing(placing judgment) changes what can be seen and how things behave.
The point here is the power of our own perceptions and judgments, and our ability to bring them back toward an unconditional state, in our case like unconditional state of love and gratitude(+/-) where we are no longer observing life through a one-sided subjective bias of judgment.
This is where human consciousness and quantum physics become fascinating, because it challenges our ordinary assumption that the observer, the measurement, and the thing being measured can always be treated as completely separate. Rather where the seer, the seeing and the seen are one and the same when you own your judgments and disowned parts.
One of the most brilliant minds of our time, Albert Einstein, famously struggled with some explaining it and of the implications of quantum mechanics, referring to quantum entanglement as “spooky action at a distance.” So if you come back to it over the years like I do as well, it’s only natural.

“If we transform the way we look at the world, the world we look at transforms. Because it’s not what we look at, it’s what we see (+/-).”
What happens when you become the observer of your own life?
The moment we place a judgment on an experience and label it good or bad, supportive or challenging, pleasurable or painful we begin filtering reality through that perception, rather than the universal feedback the experience provide on your concious evoltion to love all sides of ourselves. We seek what we label good and avoid what we label bad. Yet later, we often realize that what once seemed bad had benefits, and what seemed good had drawbacks. And that some of our greatest growth came from our challenges, and our greatest supports kept us playing and living small.
Our memories become selectively organized around these judgments, limiting our objective reasoning and authenticity. We can remain caught in cycles of attraction and repulsion rather than seeing the beauty and magnificence of the whole picture—and having unconditional love (+/-) for what is.
Universal laws are unviolatable; the morals and laws of human beings are violatable. One group can be anti-this while another is pro-that. We can then redirect that life force toward creating and pursuing meaningful endeavors and ventures that provide meaning and fulfillment, not trying to eliminate the peace and war on the outside, but pursuing inspiring challenges within our own lives.
To love something or someone is to know them, and truly know is to see both sides (+/-) and to integrate the opposites until we experience the power of unconditional love through reflective awareness.
We have the power to breakthrough our unrealistic expectations and appreciating the journey of our lives no matter what we’ve done or haven’t done, and no matter what we experienced or didn’t experience. To come to the profound experience of an unconditional state of love (+/-).
